Friendship II

The painting is inspired by watching the Friendship Sloops head out of Rockland Harbor during the Friendship Sloop Society's yearly rendezvous and races. It celebrates the beauty of these traditional fishing and lobstering boats now sailed by families who preserve them for future generations.
